HV Upgrade

Overview: 

Previously a detailed asset audit was carried out by Connect Energy to establish the life cycle and condition of the 40 + years old pumpstation and asscoisy4f plant and equipment. It was identified that the HV supply ring main, transformer, underground cable and lines were not in great condition, a project was scoped but 3 months after planning there was a failure on the supply, this lead to a emergency upgrade of the transformer, supply cable and poles, removal of the old ring main and transformer and installation of a new LV revenue meter as the old meter was HV pole mount. This project now ensures a reliable continuity of supply.
